Introducing 'Strides' (formerly WLM)

Message from Jude McKee, CEO of Strides, (which manages Katherine Price Hughes IAP):

We’re delighted to let you know that we have rebranded the WLM Services under the soon to be reconstituted WLM Housing Association, and from today we will be known as Strides.

Strides is a community Housing Association that believes in the social value of buildings for people and communities.

Our launch website is live today, and over the coming months you’ll see the website develop as we share more information about the new brand and of course more about our services.

This will be a work in progress as we grow, so your feedback will be very welcome.

From today, all searches for will redirect to, and all the emails of staff from WLM Services will be

Find your way with us

We are excited about the possibilities that lie ahead and the continued positive impact we can create together.  Strides embodies the spirit of progress, innovation, and unwavering dedication to our purpose.

We invite you to join us on this exciting journey as we introduce you to our 7 new Directors in waiting, share with you our story, Strides’ purpose, promise and values, and remind you of our rich history working with people and communities to move forward.

Working with people and communities to move forward

Whilst our name, website, brand and Governance are changing – be assured that what we do is not changing.   We’ve made these decisions so that we can be better and continue innovating and being responsive to the community, whilst working to create places of safety and quality where people can go to find their way.

Our work will continue under these four pillars:

Reside:  Our accommodation services and partnerships

Reflect:  Our counselling service and our culture

Reintegrate: Our work in the Justice sector

Reach:  Our community hubs, and the growth that the new future for Strides will afford us.

If you would like to know more about what we do, about what changing our name means, support us, or if you have any other questions please contact

Your continued support is much very much appreciated.
