Admin

Thanks to all who took time out to attend, contribute to and engage with colleagues, speakers and guests at the recent NAPA Conference, held in Derby.

“Enjoyable as usual. Great opportunity to share issues and positives with colleagues”

An international dimension was added this year by guests from Northern Ireland and the Netherlands, who introduced the work of their respective organisations within the criminal justice sector and their perspectives on the provision of rehabilitative services.

Although the keynote session due to be delivered by HMPPS was unfortunately cancelled due to illness, other informative sessions & workshops were led by representatives from the attending IAPs, together with speakers from HM Inspectorate of Probation and the National Approved Premises Team.

“(An) appropriate way to learn and see different ways APs work”

Feedback was invited from all delegates and the positive comments illustrate the continuing value of this annual event to IAP Managers and Trustees. Evaluation of the feedback will be shared, and the constructive suggestions used to inform planning for the July 2025 event.
